It's been a while since I've been on a plane but I got to go again! Mom and Dad took me up to Chicago to see my Great-Grandma Marcella (did you know she was named after me?? How cool!!) While we were there I got to see Uncle Randy (Papa) and Cherie (who I called Mimi). To be honest, I'm a little confused. There's a lotta gray haired men in my life, so I've just decided to call them all PopPop or some variation thereof, and I've found referring to all their wives as "Mimi" suffices pretty well, too. Makes my life much simpler!

Being on the plane was tons of fun. It's funny though...sometimes they seem HUGE and they go in the sky (or "tie) as I call it, but sometimes they look really small and I want to pet ("pop") them.
(Dad's note...perspective is challenging. I mean, it took until the
Renaissance for artists to rediscover it after the Fall, how can we expect a 1.5 year old to get it?)
At home, my verbal prowess continues! My vocabulary continues to expand, and I'm constantly trying out new sounds ("hun" = hand, "ahm" = arm). I can say apple pretty clearly, and can pick out the colors blue, red, green, and yellow, and even say blue ("boo".)
Hassie taught me a fun way to play peekaboo...when I put my hands in front of my face, I say "hiding....BOO!"
Dad's been a slacker and has caught almost none of this on video. Whatever does he do with his time, if not capture all of my waking moments on film?? (wait...what's "film?")
I've also just started putting together two words. I can say "blue ball."
What...I don't get it...you're doing it too, I can tell. Every time I say that, Dad smirks and stifles a laugh...what's so funny, and why won't you tell me?
