Be an organ donor!!

I bet ya'll didn't know I got an organ donation, did you? Yep...that thing I've been calling a "conduit" is the aorta from another child. I don't know who they were, and it wasn't one of those things where they needed to "match" our organs, because the vessels themselves don't cause the type of immune responses that major organs do.

But if people weren't organ donors, there wouldn't be the supply of replacement parts for little kids like me.

Give life. Be a donor!

(yeah, you heard me right. I have two aortas. One just happens to be a pulmonary artery, now.)
